About the mentor

Matt Cricchio is a novelist, editor, and founder of NotMFA. His short fiction appears in Zero Dark Thirty, Wrath-Bearing Tree, and OAFNation and he earned an MFA in Fiction (2017, VCU, mentored by Tom DeHaven).

With experience teaching fiction at the university level, he now helps serious writers turn ambitious drafts into polished manuscripts using a rigorously structural approach grounded in clarity and precision.
